This project was a collaboration between Webex by Cisco and Apple. It was quite fun because we had a lot of freedom to bring new and fresh ideas to life. The ad was featured on 9to5mac.com.
Working with the video team at Webex, I was in charge of designing and creating the motion graphics and titles for this project.
I also did the screen replacements of all the screens in the ad, which requires tracking and integrating the UI, including creating and animating assets to make it realistic. It’s very important to be able to do last minute changes in the UI since the development is constantly updated with the latest features.
I developed the digital zoom-ins used in this ad that later on became a signature for Webex, and the team continues to use it. The idea was to use the zoom to bring emphasis to the app just as the app helps the user to focus in on their work.
